Youth Unlimited is a social enterprise and the main objective is to inspire other young people to achieve.
Rhys Jones set up Youth Unlimited in 2004 determined to fight against the bad press young people receive in the media, proving they don’t all steal cars, smoke drugs and have drunken brawls every night.
A group of teenagers achieving in different fields were put together to showcase just what’s possible and to demonstrate the majority of young people aren’t troublemakers.
Rhys also went on to work with other people his own age to encourage
self-belief – they can achieve whatever they set their mind to.

On the morning of his 20th birthday Rhys Jones stood on the summit of Mount Everest and claimed a World Record as the youngest person to climb the highest mountain on each continent, known as the Seven Summits Challenge.
Within weeks of returning home from his 54 day climb of Everest, Rhys accepted the challenge of competing in a totally different adventure and successfully completed the 2006 Round Britain and Ireland yacht race.
In 2007, Rhys set himself what would be his toughest challenge yet – a gruelling expedition to an ultra remote part of East Greenland. With a small, self supported team of just three climbers, they set off to sail from Iceland to Greenland, before making a 400 mile ski trek across the ice cap to climb the highest peaks in the Arctic Circle.
